Today we begin another typical day with a beach walk/run for Carol and an early morning snorkel for myself.

The trade winds have died down considerably the past couple of days making the weather even more delightful.

After another warm day of sunning and swimming, Carol and I head toward Kaanapali once again for dinner alone. Kelli and Ilynn are more than content to fend for themselves and make their own dinner in the condo.

Our destination--Swan Court in the Hyatt Regency. We've heard from some very reliable sources (Hi Mom!) that the food is good and the atmosphere is romantic.

Our source is right--we end up with a water side table with a nice view of the swans that swim around while you eat.

The waitstaff is very friendly and the service is good. Our waiter even manages to take a decent picture of us!

I had a seafood combo dish with lobster, shrimp and crab-stuffed mahi-mahi. Not being a seafood lover, Carol had filet mignon. Both our meals were fantastic, if pricey. But, what the heck, we're on vacation. (How many times did we say that?)

Midway through our meal, a hula girl came  up and did a Hawaiian love song dance which was nice. A very different kind of "table dance"--no dollar bills stuffed into her g-string...All in all, it definately added to the ambience of the evening.

The grounds of the Hyatt are nicely landscaped with an oriental atmosphere. There are also flamingoes (!) in addition to the swans and other water fowl.

Orchids are ever present in Maui hotels.

After dinner, we continued a stroll on the grounds of the Hyatt and watched another beautiful sunset. Check it out..
