Just West of the square is the Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, (Our Lady of Guadalupe) the local cathedral. Again, depending upon your vantage point, you can get some terrific photographs of this beautiful church. Although I didn’t take the time, I understand you can go inside the church as well which is adorned with beautiful stained glass.

The traditional looking tree-shaded town square  (Plaza de Armas) with its central bandstand marks the southern end of the Malecon.

Directly across from the Plaza de Armas is The Theater Aquiles Serdan more commonly referred to as the Los Arcos Ampitheater. One of the more photographed sites in PV. The theater has 4 arches made of cantera (quarrystone). It’s a great place to catch a sunset and a “must see” in PV although somehow I have to think it would be difficult to miss.
